ABOUT US
The Community Development Department administers land use policies and standards adopted by the City Council, including the Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Code, Subdivision Regulations, Building Code, and Economic Development policies. The Department includes the Planning and Building Divisions.

We are available to address your land use and development questions related to real estate due diligence, specific projects, as well as long range plannign efforts that influence how the community will grow. |
The Building Division helps ensure that our community’s buildings are safe and comfortable through the review of plans, issuance of permits, and inspection of all commercial and residential construction, including plumbing, mechanical, and electrical. Building staff works with contractors and citizens to help ensure that their construction projects meet the state code standards. We are available to answer your permitting and building code questions for your specific project. |
