Community Service Officers
Community Service Officers
The Central Point Police Community Service Officers (CSOs) perform a variety of community services relating to enforcing the city's municipal code. Some examples of these municipal codes include weed abatement, graffiti removal, animal complaints, vacant house registrations, parking enforcement and abandoned vehicles. In addition to city ordinance compliance, our CSOs assist officers with traffic control on motor vehicle collisions, subpoena service, and with many other case investigation needs. Our CSOs are very active in our city's neighborhood associations and frequently attend neighborhood watch meetings.
