NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CENTRAL POINT
City Council, July 19, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.

NATURE OF MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the Central Point City Council will conduct a public hearing to review and decide on a request for a right of way vacation of an open area between Cheney Loop and a public alley.
The hearing will give individuals an opportunity to express their opinions and ask questions about the vacation. Individuals may submit written comments and testimony to the City regarding the proposed vacation. Such written material must be submitted to the Public Works Director at Central Point City Hall, 140 South Third Street, no later than July 13th for it to be submitted in the City Council Packet.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
- Any person interested in commenting on the above-mentioned decision may submit written comments up until the close of the meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 19, 2018 for the Council to review after the meeting.
- Written comments may be sent in advance of the meeting to Central Point City Hall, 140 South Third Street, Central Point, OR 97502 or by e-mail to Matt Samitore (matt.samitore@centralpointoregon.gov).

SUMMARY OF PROCEDURE
After conducting the hearing, the City council will determine if the proposed vacation is in the public’s interest pursuant to Chapter 271 of the Oregon Revised Statute.
