NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CENTRAL POINT CITY COUNCIL

Meeting Date:    November 10, 2016
Time:  7:00 p.m.
Place:  Central Point City Hall, 140 S. 3rd Street, Central Point OR

Beginning at the above place and time the Central Point City Council will hold a public hearing to consider a Major revision to 2008 Population element of the City's Comprehensive Plan by updating the Population Element per the Coordinated Population forecast 2015 through 2065 Jackson County prepared by PSU Population Research Center, June 2015, and retitling to 2016-2036 Population Element.  Applicant: City of Central Point.

Pursuant to ORS 197.763(3)(e), failure to raise an issue during this hearing, in person or in writing, with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-makers and the parties an opportunity to respond to the issue will preclude an appeal based on that issue.

PUBLIC COMMENTS:  

  1. Any person interested in commenting on the above-mentioned legislative amendment may submit written comments until the close of the public portion of the meeting scheduled on Nov. 10, 2016 for the City Council.
  2. Written comments may be sent in advance of the meeting to Central Point City Hall, Community Development Department at 140 S. Third Street, Central Point, Oregon 97502 or by email to don.burt@centralpointoregon.gov.
  3. Issues which may provide the basis for an objection in this matter shall be raised prior to the expiration of the comment period noted above.  Any testimony and written comments about the decisions described above will need to be related to the proposal and should be stated clearly to the City Council.
  4. Copies of all evidence relied upon are available for public review at City Hall, 140 South Third Street, Central Point, Oregon 97502.  Copies of same can be purchased at City Hall for 25 cents per page.
