Project Summary
to construct a “Public Facility” for the City of Central Point Public Works Operations Center that includes approximately 25,259 square feet of building area, landscaping, and parking areas on 5.19 acres. The project site is located at 235 S. Haskell Street within the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Corridor within the General Commercial (GC) zoning district. The project site is located at 235 S. Approval Criteria
This application is being reviewed using Type III procedures per Central Point Municipal Code section 17.05.400, and is subject to the applicable standards and criteria set forth below:

The application is scheduled for a public hearing in front of the Planning Commission on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
Public Comments
Any person interested in commenting on the Site Plan and Architectural Review and Conditional Use Permit applications may provide written testimony regarding the application up until the close of the meeting on March 2, 2021. Written comments must be related to the proposal and should be clearly stated. Pursuant to ORS 197.763(3)(e), comments must address the approval criteria with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-makers and all parties an opportunity to respond to the issue(s) raised. Failure to do so means that an appeal based on that issue cannot be raised at the State Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA).
Written comments may be sent to Central Point City Hall, Attn: Justin Gindlesperger at 140 South 3rd Street, Central Point, OR 97502. The land use file numbers are: CUP-20002 and SPAR-20013.

03/02/2021 - Public Hearing scheduled before the Planning Commission at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 140 S. 3rd Street in Central Point.
SUMMARY: At the hearing, the Planning Commission heard the staff report for the Conditional Use Permit and Site Plan and Architectural Review, received testimony from the applicant and interested parties. The Planning Commission approved the request by Resolution Nos. 888 & 889.

03/13/2021 - Appeals must be mailed or hand delivered to the Community Development Department by 4:30 p.m. The City's address is 140 South Third Street, Central Point, Oregon 97502. All appeals must be in written form consistent with the procedures set forth in Section 17.05.300(G) of the Central Point Municipal Code
