NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CENTRAL POINT

This notice was published on August 17, 2017.
Beginning at the above place and time the Central Point City Council will hold a public hearing to consider a legislative text amendment to Title 15 of the Central Point Municipal Code.
PURPOSE:
To add to or amend the following sections from the Central Point Municipal Code, sections below as listed:
Section 15.04.010 – Standards applicable to building.
Replacing references to state building codes dated 2014, Residential Specialty Code; 2014 Electrical Specialty Code and National Electrical Code; and 2014 Plumbing Specialty Code with Oregon Amendments.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
- Any person interested in commenting on the above-mentioned legislative amendment may submit written comments until the close of the public portion of the meeting scheduled on August 24, 2017 for the City Council.
- Written comments may be sent in advance of the meeting to Central Point City Hall, Community Development Department at 140 S. Third Street, Central Point, Oregon 97502 or by email to tom.humphrey@centralpointoregon.gov.
- Issues which may provide the basis for an objection in this matter shall be raised prior to the expiration of the comment period noted above. Any testimony and written comments about the decisions described above will need to be related to the proposal and should be stated clearly to the City Council.
- Copies of all evidence relied upon are available for public review at City Hall, 140 South Third Street, Central Point, Oregon 97502. Copies of same can be purchased at City Hall for 25 cents per page.
