NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CENTRAL POINT
City Council, June 14, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.
Central Point City Hall, 140 S. 3rd Street, Central Point OR
NATURE OF MEETING
Beginning at the above time and place, the Central Point City Council will consider a request to annex 4618 and 4626 North Pacific Highway comprising a total of 3.64 acres (File No. ANNEX-18001). The properties are identified on the Jackson County Assessor’s map as 37S 2W 03BD, Tax Lots 500 & 600. Applicant: Paul Miller. Agent: Neathamer Surveying, Inc.
Pursuant to ORS 197.763 (3) (e), failure to raise an issue during this hearing, in person or in writing, with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-makers and the parties an opportunity to respond to the issue will preclude an appeal based on that issue.
CRITERIA FOR DECISION
Criteria for the decision will be based upon requirements for annexation as set forth, ORS 222.125 Annexation by consent of all owners of land and majority of electors; proclamation of annexation as well as CPMC 1.20 Annexation Procedure.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
- Any person interested in commenting on the above-mentioned land use decision may submit written comments up until the close of the meeting scheduled for Thursday, June 14, 2018.
- Written comments may be sent in advance of the meeting to Central Point City Hall, 140 South Third Street, Central Point, OR 97502 or by e-mail to Justin Gindlesperger (justin.gindlesperger@centralpointoregon.gov).
- Issues which may provide the basis for an appeal on the matters shall be raised prior to the expiration of the comment period noted above. Any testimony and written comments about the decision described above will need to be related to the proposal and should be stated clearly to the City Council.
- Copies of all evidence relied upon by the applicants are available for public review at City Hall, 140 South Third Street, Central Point, Oregon. The City File Number is: ANNEX-18001. Copies of the same are available at 25 cents per page.

SUMMARY OF PROCEDURE
At the public hearing, the City Council will review all written testimony, objections or remonstrance to the proposed annexation. At the conclusion of the public hearing, the City Council may adopt, modify or reject the resolution annexing the property.
