Community Development Commission/Urban Renewal:
The City of Central Point Community Development Commission will hold a public hearing on June 11, 2015 at 6:00 pm to approve the 2015/2016 Annual Budget.

Urban Growth Boundary Expansion:
Beginning at the above time and place, the Central Point City Council will consider:
An Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Map (Minor) to add approximately 47 acres to the City of Central Point Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) north of Interstate 5, east and west of Blackwell Road in the vicinity of the Seven Oaks Interchange (Exit 35) including portions of Dean Creek Road. County File No. LRP 2013-00006 and City File No. 14009; Applicant: City of Central Point.
Pursuant to ORS 197.763 (3) (e), failure to raise an issue during this hearing, in person or in writing, with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-makers and the parties an opportunity to respond to the issue prior to the close of the final hearing means that an appeal based on that issue cannot be raised at the State Land Use Board of Appeals.
At the meeting, the City Council will review the minor comprehensive plan amendment request as well as the Planning Commission’s recommendation to approve the request. The City Council will hear testimony from the applicants, proponents, opponents, and hear arguments on the applications. Any testimony or written comments must be related to the criteria set forth above. At the conclusion of the review, the City Council may move the comprehensive plan amendment ordinance to a second reading on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at which time the City Council may approve or deny the application.
2015 - 17 Budget Adoption:
A public meeting and hearing of the Central Point Council will be held to discuss a biennial budget for FY July 1, 2015 - June 30, 2017 as recommended by the Central Point Budget Committee. A summary of the budget is available upon request from the Finance Director located in City Hall between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm. This is the first year for the city to budget for a biennial budget period. The budget was prepared on a basis of modified accrual accounting that is the same as the preceding years.
